Audi, BMW and Daimler buy here.com

William Boston of the Wall Street Journal comments on the acquisition of here.com, formerly Nokia, by German car manufacturers Audi, BMW and Daimler.

German auto makers Audi, BMW and Daimler have agreed in principle to purchase Nokia’s digital mapping service, called Nokia Here, for about $2.7 billion, according to a person familiar with the situation.
